How can we become frontrunners for sustainable innovation?
Frontrunners for sustainable innovation - we are! Now we need to gather energy to increase the pace and help more innovations reach the market! During the trip to Copenhagen we want to know what you are inspired by. Formulate ideas in one of 4 categories:
1. Social challenges that need to be addressed
2. Innovations that solve the problem
3. Business needs in development
4. Promoting strategies that work
Write short headlines and descriptions, footage and then publish your ideas here on the platform. Together we can like, comment and develop the ideas further. All contributions are made anonymously.
New ideas are born every day - but it is only when they are tested, challenged and put to the test that innovation really takes place. The Stockholm region is Sweden's innovation center with a leading position in Europe. Frontrunners for Sustainable Innovation is a joint EU-funded project between three of the Stockholm region's strongest innovation clusters: Kista Science City, Södertälje Science Park, Openlab and KTH. Together, we help SMEs develop their ideas faster and take their innovations to market.
The Stockholm region has a great variety of industries and high competence, which contributes to good conditions for developing innovative companies that are at the forefront. Through the Frontrunners for sustainable innovation project, we contribute to the development of companies through:
NETWORK AND KNOWLEDGE
Innovating together is one of the most important factors for success. Thanks to a large network and broad expertise, we create the arena for meetings between companies and the public sector that contribute to new contacts and new insights.
PROCUREMENT
Developed working methods and processes are important to enable more SMEs to participate in public procurement. We guide and support the public sector to get innovative solutions to the market faster.
DEVELOP PRODUCT OR SERVICE
We give SMEs the opportunity to develop their services and products in smart city and production - all with a strong focus on sustainability. The project's test and development environments are located in Kista and Södertälje. The focus in Kista is on a sustainable and smart city and in Södertälje sustainable production.
LINK TO ACADEMY
Through Frontrunners we help more small and medium-sized companies find new skills in the academy. It can be about finding key skills for recruitment or a new approach to a problem. Maybe theses or courses may be an opportunity to gain new cutting-edge skills and develop your business.
