  • The Hub

The Hub is a place located in the inner city where people can rent bikes, store or get their bike fixed. Conveniently located close to the major transit hubs of Stockholm it allows people to easily connect public transport and cycling in the city.

  • Redistribution of Space

The aim of this prototype is to show an alternative distribution of road space in the inner city to make biking safer, lovable and more attractive to people who would otherwise not cycle. The blue lanes are going in the same direction but give enough space for both fast and slow cyclists. A barrier of vegetation and concrete lane dividers protects cyclists from cars on the road. The yellow cross marks a safe loading zone, which is not for parking.
